20 Facts Challenge

20 Facts Challenge Accepted!

     Here comes another fad called the "20 Facts Challenge" which is becoming very popular on Instagram. Well of course, I was tagged and people dared me to take the challenge. :D So here are my 20 facts:

1. My full name is Deidri Anne Lingat Canlas (weird first name huh? Most of the time, it’s misspelled and mispronounced… Anyway, my name actually is a variation of “Deirdre” which means “girl/woman”)

2. I only care for people who really matters. What other people think is the last thing in my mind.  

3. Born in the 1st day of May, year 1996. (Yes, I’m eighteen.) 

4. Brunette. Morena. 5’4”. Filipina. Asian. Human. (Hahaha. That was crazy, I know.)

5. Accountant in the making. (Currently taking up BS Accounting Technology at the University of the Assumption)

6. A daydreamer, literally. 

7. Purple lover. (Mystery, magic, royalty and elegance. My kind of thing.)

8. Food! (It’s already out in the obvious. Duh. )

9. A straightforward person. I speak my mind. I don’t sugar coat words. I give compliments with all honesty. 

10. I live by the moment and I strive to make the best out of it. 

11. A wanderlust. To travel the world is a part of my bucket list. 

12. I’m but a “so-so” in physical appearance. But I firmly believe in substance over form. If you know what I mean. 

13. Neither could I sing nor dance well.  But I love music. It expresses feelings words cannot. 

14. I love writing. I was once a campus journalist. I’ve been the Editor-in-chief of our English school paper (we have two school publications, one in Filipino and the other in English. ☺) for two consecutive years. 

15. I would stand up for what I believe is right and just. That was the reason why I was elected as the President of our Supreme Student Government before. (Well, that was in high school. Hihi)

16. I love the English language. Learning more and more of it has been my passion. (That’s why I’m also a grammar freak. Hahaha. Sorry not sorry.)

17. I hate being compared to others. I’d like to be known for my individuality. 

18. I aim high because I’d like to have the best of everything. 

19. I need not explain myself to others. I know myself better than anyone else. 

20. I am more than what I can tell about myself.
